To better understand the below you may check Klevius' theory Out of "Africa" as small tiny-brained ape-men and back as modern humans (all those old Homos anthropologists dig up and "interpret" have nothing or very little to do with us)!

This (third from the left) is the most widely distributed reconstruction of Venus of Brassempouy. Stupid and heavily biased, isn't it. No resemblance at all! But what did she really look like?

And this is an emerging prototype of Klevius reconstruction. Please help to make sense of it.

Yes, I know it's extremely clumsy and crude but why don't you improve it! At least have I tried to change as little as possible.

So tell me, for example, how wide should her mouth be. We do know she had no chin, just like Homo floresiensis near the Melanesians. And who knows whether a lack of chin is statistically different there? Etc, etc.

The map is from Well's The Journey of Man, and further developed by Klevius. It definitely proves that what we may arguably consider as humans did not develop in Africa. What came out of Africa was a small Chimp/Homo hybrid which ought not to be confused with more human-like Homos already in existence both in Eurasia and Africa (these Homos later became mixed with the down-moving modern "Aurignacian" humans from the North).

This is Denisova in Siberia where the mtDNA of a finger of a 40,000 year non-human reveals hybridization with Neanderthals and relationship with Melanesians (Floresiensis, the apeman who, with a tiny brain, was equally intelligent as Homo erectus with more than double the brain, was from the same place). Note that this finger both in time and place fits eerily well in Klevius' theory.

Interestingly, in Northern Finland and Russia there have been some reports from the 19th Century of "original" (i.e. before moved to reservation in Finland and mixed) small (males ca . 140 cm) Skolts with "fat and very ugly women". Note that, to my understanding, the researcher was not a racist based on his other writings and didn't use this kind of language about other alien people he met. It may also be noted that Skolts have had some of the fastest changes in stature after being "civilized"/mixed.

Venus of Willendorf, 24,000 years old, i.e. more or less contemporary with Venus of Brassempouy, and found in Germany (I was about to say "what is now Germany" but because fanatic Africa centrists use the word Africa about a time when the expression is meaningless, so do I - when the first Homos were around Africa wasn't around in any meaningful sense simply because the Red Sea was closed).

The genetic spread of modern humans started in Central-Asia Mid-Siberia.

It was a result of hybridization between clever but small brained Denisovans and stupid but big brained Neanderthals. Denisovans got their super brain from Homo floresiensis. But the "trouble" (for the conventional view) with floresiensis is that s/he had a "too small brain" for her/his actual achievemnet (this same text written in Finnish or most other non-semitic non indoeuropean languages would not have needed this stupid sex segregation s/he or her/his!). But it fits elegantly in Klevius theory.

Here in Denisova Siberia a 40,000 year old finger was found belonging to a young girl whose DNA revealed that she was a non-human but related to Neanderthals and today's Melanesians, especially those not far from Flores, the island where the apelike Homo floresiensis was found..

Mark Stoneking, professor at the Department of Evolutionary Genetics at the Max Planck Institute for Evolutionary Anthropology: "The fact that Denisovan DNA can be detected in some but not other original inhabitant populations living in Southeast Asia today shows that numerous populations with and without Denisovan DNA existed over 44,000 years ago. The simplest explanation for the presence of Denisovan genetic material in some but not all groups is that Denisova people themselves lived in Southeast Asia." Klevius comment: Perfectly in line with Klevius' theory Out of Africa as ape/Homo-hybrids and back as fully developed modern humans. Homo floresiensis, found at Flores, Indonesia, has already proved that a 450 cm2 brain was enough to make/use tools and fire on a level of Homo erectus with at least double that size.

A lion headed figure, first called the lion man (German: Löwenmensch, literally "lion person"), then the lion lady (German: Löwenfrau), is an ivory sculpture that is the oldest known zoomorphic (animal-shaped) sculpture in the world and one of the oldest known sculptures in general. The sculpture has also been interpreted as anthropomorphic, giving human characteristics to an animal, although it may have represented an unfactual presence deity. The figurine was determined to be about 32,000 years old[1][2] by carbon dating material from the same layer in which the sculpture was found. It is associated with the archaeological Aurignacian culture.[3] The sculpture is 29.6 cm (11.7 inches) in height, 5.6 cm wide. and 5.9 cm thick. It was carved out of mammoth ivory using a flint stone knife. There are seven parallel, transverse, carved gouges on the left arm. It is now in the museum in Ulm, Germany.

The Venus of Brassempouy was carved from mammoth ivory. She is 3.65 cm high, 2.2 cm deep and 1.9 cm wide. Her face is triangular and seems tranquil. While forehead, nose and brows are carved in relief, the mouth is absent. A vertical crack on the right side of the face is linked to the internal structure of the ivory. On the head is a checkerboard-like pattern formed by two series of shallow incisions at right angles to each other; it has been interpreted as a wig, a hood, or simply a representation of hair. the figurine in the Middle Gravettian, with "Noailles" burins circa 26,000 to 24,000 BP. Although the style of representation is essentially realistic, the proportions of the head do not correspond exactly to any known human population of the present or past.

Denisovian became a new lineage separate from all other Homo lineages to come, about one million years ago. However, despite the long differentiation period, they were still able to interbreed with modern humans 30,000 years ago. This is apparent because their DNA is found in New Guineans and many, but not all, populations in Asia. They evidently came from Africa at about the same time as the Neanderthals and spread across Asia, while the Neanderthals claimed Europe. Neanderthal DNA is found in Australian Aborigines, and in many Europeans, but not in New Guineans, and Australian Aborigines do not have Denisovan DNA.

It has recently been shown that ancestors of New Guineans and Bougainville Islanders have inherited a proportion of their ancestry from Denisovans, an archaic hominin group from Siberia. However, only a sparse sampling of populations from Southeast Asia and Oceania were analyzed. Here, we quantify Denisova admixture in 33 additional populations from Asia and Oceania. Aboriginal Australians, Near Oceanians, Polynesians, Fijians, east Indonesians, and Mamanwa (a “Negrito” group from the Philippines) have all inherited genetic material from Denisovans, but mainland East Asians, western Indonesians, Jehai (a Negrito group from Malaysia), and Onge (a Negrito group from the Andaman Islands) have not. These results indicate that Denisova gene flow occurred into the common ancestors of New Guineans, Australians, and Mamanwa but not into the ancestors of the Jehai and Onge and suggest that relatives of present-day East Asians were not in Southeast Asia when the Denisova gene flow occurred. Our finding that descendants of the earliest inhabitants of Southeast Asia do not all harbor Denisova admixture is inconsistent with a history in which the Denisova interbreeding occurred in mainland Asia and then spread over Southeast Asia, leading to all its earliest modern human inhabitants. Instead, the data can be most parsimoniously explained if the Denisova gene flow occurred in Southeast Asia itself. Thus, archaic Denisovans must have lived over an extraordinarily broad geographic and ecological range, from Siberia to tropical Asia.

If you feel frustrated abt the fact that Klevius includes (logical) islam criticism in anthropology, pls consider the frustration Klevius & others feel abt Wikipedia etc charlatanisms all the time trying to blend in islam-boosting without a trace of logic (you know, those stupid "in islam/Koran bla bla bla", truly tiresome, aren't they)! Science is all about coming up with intelligent speculative ideas that are possible and hence could be of general interest. The sensless & unfounded view that science needs evidence instead of speculations completely misunderatands the scientific (i.e. not political) process. Every scientific process starts with speculation! Evidence to support these ideas can only be searched for AFTER such speculations. The alternative would be the death of the scientific process altogetgher! What's often confused is the scientific method with the scientific proecess. In fact, those very morons who don't have brains to distinguish between intelligent speculations & (their own) charlatanism, often hail subjectivism in different forms, e.g. by contaminating the scientific method with opinions (see more abt this on Klevius philosophy/science pages).

** It's important to note that "ordinary" humans of today on average most probably possess a lower intelligence than the "Aurignacians" (see Klevius theory). The selection for intelligence peaked in Siberia some 30,000-10,000 yrs ago, before (see Klevius theory) the spread of the new "mongoloid" modern human became global while slowly mixing with more "archaic" humans hence giving rise to the physiological pattern we still see traces of today. Also compare what Klevius call the "bastard belt", i.e. the "caucasoid" blend between modern mongoloids & more primitive "archaics". This view also explains statistical global intelligence differences.

Human diversity clearly mirrors a migrating ape! According to Klevius (2004) after hybridizing in the interface between jungle & savannah the Homo/Pan bastard spread around in the tracks of previous big but poor-brained Homos with whom it could still interbreed. This pattern has probably been going on since the time of Homo/Chimp differentiation. The savannah geared Homo was able to extensively enlarge its living space, and when it got the final brain upgrading it really took off in cold Siberia.

The Kow Swamp morphological patterns strongly indicate changes in the facial and frontal regions of Aboriginal crania from northern Victoria over the last 9000-10,000 yrs. Terminal Pleistocene skeletal remains from south-eastern Australia can be distinguished from their recent counterparts by their greater size and robusticity. This includes greater average stature, larger mean head and tooth size, thicker bones in the cranial vault, larger and more rugose areas of muscle attachment and greater mean endocranial volumes. There appears to have been a gradual reduction in body size after 9,000 years BP, with people of modern body size and shape appearing at around 6000 to 5000 years BP.

Who started evolution?

We do know what the “god-people” think, don’t we. But I’d say Darwin was "the first mover". An intelligent & informed true scientist of a type you rarely find in universities. Whereas “the first mover” is a senseless* oxymoron, Darwin is for real.

* “The first mover” is a kin to the equally insane "Big Bang". Both share the senseless monotheist fabrication of creation from "nothing" (Klevius 1992). And as soon as you have figured out that creation (from nothing) is an equally lousy concept as "god", you will also realize that there cannot possibly be a beginning, which fact in turn makes "the first mover" retroactively unemployed, doesn't it. This is also where otherwise quite senseful George Berkeley went wrong.

The extended chimp/Homo divorce

Analysis of human/chimp genetic relation reveal that hominids and chimps diverged far more recently & over a longer timescale than previously thought.

Gene flow leads to a reduced genetic variation by recombining gene pools thus repairing developing differences in genetic variation that otherwise would have led to speciation.

According to Klevius model of how the modern human came to being, it all started with repeated hybrids between Homos & apes. The now extinct ape may have been something like an advanced Bonobo & the Homo an almost equally small but slightly bigger brained non-human pygmy. The result looked something like Homo floresiensis. This creature was then able to reproduce with bigger local Homo variants. This also explains the wide & unique body size & shape variation among humans today.

Via gene flow (especially in the Central Asian climatic "veins" - see Klevius original theory presented on the net 2004) which leads to a reduction in genetic variation & due prevention of speciation, the emerging human got bigger body size & a brain case now filled with a smarter (than Homo) ape brain. This explains the poor correlation between brain size & culture such as tool technology etc.

So which is the most puzzling question for Klevius right now?

How is Homo floresiensis' super brain (i.e. the relation between brain size & culture) related to the Siberian/Aurignacian IQ explosion? Was Homo floresiensis, in fact, M130?

A possible scenario is that the Denisova finger represents a developed (cold adapted & with better feet/femurs etc) Homo floresiensis lineage already transformed through interbreeding with other Homos.

Repeated climate changes mixed jungle & savannah apes/Homos in the borderline between the dwarfing jungle & the almost treeless savannah. Although many chimps can survive on the savannah they are by no means well adapted for such an open landscape. This evolutionary pressure may have triggered the success for a world conquering hybrid who, moreover, also was/became able to interbreed with more distant Homos as well.

Our understandable fixation with physical similarities easile obstructs the possibility of alternative & rapid changes although they are right under our nose (consider, for example, a chihuahua & a grand danoise).

Modern humans hence are a product of both allopatric & ecological speciation. This kind of hybrid speciation outlined here & in Out of Africa as pygmies & back again as global mongoloids may achieve reproductive isolation between the hybrids and one of their parents while streching out along a genetic path that ended in a dead end in Australia & a cultural explosion in Siberia. Different genotypes may not only produce different phenotypes in similar environment but similar genotypes may also produce different phenotypes in a new environment. Although the cold north was already familiar for many Homos, it was only via the new high-rewing brain structure that the full potential of this abundant protein source could be utilized.

The hybrid speciation process may have been repeated many times until the new brain (coupled with previous northern Homo features) structure eventually (almost) cleaned the field & left HSS the only surviving species.

Keep in mind that "out-of-Africa" babblers refer to pre-human genes! There's apparently some confusing abt the Hobbit (Homo floresiensis) out there. Yesterday we could read three different news lines:

Gorilla (female): 466 g brain weight
Human (female): 1228 g brain weight)

Homo habilis, the first rude tool making/using Homo, is est. to average 612 cm3 (i.e. probably less for females). We ought to jump forward more than a Million year to meet Homo erectus at a tool-making stage similar to that of Homo floresiensis, & with a brain volume that far exceeded that of the 'Hobbit'!

The assumtion that only Homo had the ability for tool making/usage has long since been disproved. This is just another piece the new puzzle that reveals that there are two more or less distinct brain capacity/behavior relations: One of them is some 50-100% more effective than the other.

Neanderthal, the Homo with the biggest ever average brain size: 24.1cm (length) x 14.6 cm (width) x 17.8 cm (height). Compare Klevius: 20cm (length) x 16.7 cm (width) x 16.5 cm (height).

Also consider that Daniel Lyons, who was allegedly a non retarded normal human, had a brain weight of 680 g corresponding to 650 cm3.

In addition you may consider that the skull, face, and wrist of the female Homo floresiensis have many unusually primitive features that resemble chimp and Australopithecus.

Note that all the Homos that already occupied Africa/Eurasia had a low capacity brain structure as is evident from cultural comparisons. Background

The human mtDNA "originates" in two branches (called Eve & Adam – which naming is equally misleading, stupid & influenced by “godisms” as is the “Big Bang”*) the female starting some >140,000 years ago & the male some >60,000 years ago. However, this pattern may be better described in terms of speciation through hybridization.
* Where did it "bang"?! Creation from nothing is a typical Mideast "monogodist" stupidity, the very opposite to creation from something, as is the usual logic in other creation myths (see Klevius 1992:22, Demand for Resources).

We do know that so called parallel evolution in primates has been common. We also know that fertile hybridization is possible between species genetically more distant than humans & chimp.

Lucy (an australopithecine >3 myr old, with small stature & similar brain size, who is supposed to be a human ancestor but who wasn't even close to Floresiensis tool making/usage skills - Floresiensis' stone tools include types previously only found together with Homo sapiens at Stone Age sites) has a sacrum that fits the pelvis of Floresiensis. The femur has a small head & long neck like both australopithecines and Homo habilis & the pelvis resembles australopithecines (please note that these distinctions aren't complete simply due to the lack of bones).

Floresiensis' wrist (trapezoid bone) resambles that of great apes and early hominids but unlike that of Neanderthals and modern humans.

I was expecting and waiting for it. And more will come - and different! There is a complete transition from chimp-human hybrids to modern humans out there! The Palau fossils (recent small bodied humans with some Floresiensis characteristics) are perfectly in line with Klevius hybridization (between pygmy chimp and humans) theory (do you excuse me for now daring to name it theory instead of hypothesis?) because they fit in a pattern of a relatively fast evolving hybrid lineage rooted in Africa and scattered over Asia, filling big (but dumb) brains (i.e. what we USED to call humans) with more efficient ones.

Both skulls reveal archaic traits. However, non of them are associated with true Aurignacian, i.e. the Oase tools (if related) are not only "early" but also on the very limit of Aurignacian alltogether! Hence no one can today declare the Oase skull as belonging to a representative for the cultural evolution that typical Aurignacian inevitably signs. This was perhaps some of the "first archaic moderns" dispersed into Europe but has nothing to do with the real modern "mongoloids" coming from Siberia along the M173 genetic path. On the contrary their Neanderthal features (frontal flattening, large juxtamastoid eminence and exceptionally large upper molars with unusual size progression) seems to indicate less advanced capabilities which fact, together with its proposed resemblance with the Hofmeyr specimen, would fit well in the obvious lack of Aurignacian in sub-Saharan Africa at the time. It would also fit the chronological overlap with transitional forms.

To strech the conclusion that the Hofmeyr skull represents something even remotely resembling truly Aurignacian moderns is nothing but desperate. There seems to be a desperate (racist?) need for someone to rob the Khoisan people from their status as the first really modern humans in Africa!

If the "research" team compared a chimp kin-society/family/group with a non-kin human dito, then not only their conclusion but the entire research project was pure nonsense! Due to hybridization divergence times of species may vary by millions of years. This fact seems to support the Out of Africa as "pygmies" and back as global "mongoloids" hypothesis, as well as the possibility that there may be a similar relation to Homo floresiensis (see postings below).

The efforts made to avoid encountering a new humanlike species like Homo floresiensis are now peaking again. But the arguments are the same and completely empty as always. Yes, it can't be a Homo erectus successor because, as I 've written before, a) it's too small and b) there simply doesn't exist a distinct Homo erectus! And no, the humanlike organized brain doesn't connect it to humans but to an advanced ape/human hybridization with a much more wrinkled (and neuronally more complex) brain than Homo erectus/early sapiens (see Out of Africa as "pygmies" and back as global "mongoloids"), which fact explains the advanced tools as well as makes it possible that Homo floresiensis represents the "missing link" feared by religious fundamentalists (incl. ALL Islamists) etc!

So hello "true Muslims"* and other fundamentalists, here's the really sour catch. Although hybridization has been known for long its effect on the blurring of speciation has probably been gravely underestimated. Today it can't be excluded that not only different branches of homo, but also branches of pan and homo, may have interbreeded successfully up to modern humans. It's important to understand that "genetic windows" in the speciation barriers only have to fit certain parts of a population, which then later may transmit (internal hybridization) new genes to those who could not have hybridize in the first place.

What has been considered the chain of human ancestors (habilis, erectus, sapiens) may in fact be only the more or less empty vessel that was later (100.000 to 40.000 years ago) filled with a more complex brain tissue developed in pygmy apes that hybridized with pygmy humans in e.g East-Congo/Zaire's jungles. When this high quality brain tissue expanded in the wider (pygmy) human skull it encouraged them to migrate to places were dwarfism was no longer needed, i.e. to the same places where big (but stupid) homos already existed. The next hybridization then caused a significent body growth while the brain tissue came in handy when entering new areas and lifestyles, e.g. in the protein richt but cold north. As described in Demand for Resources - on the right to be poor (Klevius 1992) the basis for existence is motion/dynamics in a changing complexity of evolution and devolution (i.e. in the "disturbed" CP-violation section in the aftermath of the "Big Bang"*). In such a picture there is no place for "creation", or "the first mover". In fact, it's a lot more difficult to establish a "starting point" rather than critically scrutinizing the very concept of "creation". Such a scrutiny seems to lead to similar results as the philosophical search for "the free will"!

* "Big Bang" is a double tautology. It can't have been big - in fact it was she smallest (a black hole?) of all bangs. And it can't have been a bang - what/who experienced it (Klevius 1992)?!

Creation is a "civilized" (not to say imperialistic) human invention

What was before? Before what? Before the "disturbance" that "was" in entropy?!

In so called "primitive" societies it used to be fairly common to describe existence as a "spirit" blown into a primordial being. This is precisely the opposite to the ridicilous view which suggests creation from nothing and then replaces "nothing" with "god"(P. Klevius 1992:21-22)!

A less emotional synonyme for "god" is uncertainty

The problem/advantage (for creationists etc) with creation is its introducing of "the creator"/"mechanism for creation", because it is, by definition, positioned outside its creation, hence leaving the creationists etc in uncertainty about what "it" really is. This is not a problem for us "primitivists", though!

But there is yet another uncertainty inside the "creation" itself, namely the unforeseeable "chaos" that makes it impossible to fully determine internal causes, no matter how deterministic your approach is (P. Klevius 1992:36).

By the way. Where (if anywhere - compare Fred Hoyle and others) did the "Big Bang" occure?! And if nowhere, where did it "bang"?
