Mekel-Bobrov et al., Ongoing Adaptive Evolution of ASPM, a Brain Size Determinant in Homo sapiens, (Science 2005 309: 1720-1722), seems to strongly confirm (albeit the authors themselves don't seem to have fully realized the difference between sparsely and densly populated areas with with slow and rapid gene exchange) Klevius' hypothesis Out of Africa as "Pygmies" and back as global "Mongoloids" - how a wrinkled African "Pygmy"* brain became "human"/"Mongoloid" * in cold Asia! This "Out of Africa" hypothesis isn't multiregional in a conventional sense because it's based on a continuous intermingling between the continents, which eventually resulted in the Asian emergence of the fully modern (genetically and culturally)global human.
It's sad when political correctness blindfolds science. In the 19th and 20th centuries the obstacle used to be the ego-tripped "Out of Europe" whereas it later (as a response to bad conscience?), became the "Out of Africa" intellectual and social comfort aid. But now, when Peter Klevius has introduced (since 1992 in Demand for Resources - on the right to be poor and since April 2004 on Internet). the "Out of Asia" hypothesis, the situation is different because of its more powerful base in previously unknown genetic data, less biased motives (Peter Klevius is a "Caucasoid/Mongoloid" European bastard) as well as because of its global concordance linguistically, and archeologically. Furthermore Klevius' OOAAPABAAGM hypothesis rests on a more solid ground as most other because: a) It challenges the "Mongoloid complex" racism, which, until now, effectively has diminished scientifical efforts contradicting anthropological etc Euro/Mideast/Afro-centrism. b) It's constantly, and fully, open for adaptations to new data.
As stated in the hypothesis, what used to be named "caucasoid" and "negroid" races, are in fact the gradual transition forms in the East-African/Mideastern bottleneck, comparable with the Southeast-Asian transition forms followed by M130 "Negritos" mixing with northern mongoloids.
Of course, this scenario is full of holes, partly due to Peter Klevius lack of info and IQ, but also because of a lack of data. What is, however, crucial is that OOAAPABAAGM opens up (thanks also to Hammer et al) a previously closed (because of the rigid Out of Africa/Multiregional dyad) road of thinking abt how modern humans really evolved, genetically and culturally.
But beware of kind looking neo-racists, and theri blogs etc. out there, boosting own racial etc agendas while pretending anti-racist!
