Religion strikes back: Pro-Islamic "scientists" try new tricks to blur Homo floresiensis discovery
for a background see Out of Africa as "pygmies" and back as global "mongoloids"
1) Robert Eckhardt of Pennsylvania State University (see below) together with Teuku Jacob (the guy who stole and damaged the LB1 "Hobbit" Homo floresiensis - btw, has anyone heard abt any major discovery by this old man who has watchguarded Indonesian islamic anthropology for a lifetime?!) and Etty Indriati of (Islamic) Gadjah Mada University in Yogyakarta: "This is not a new species, this is a developmentally abnormal individual. The LB1 ("Hobbit") skull is deformed and mirror imaging creates different faces hence suggesting developmental abnormalities." They also "studied" 76 Rampasasa pygmies living nearby the Liang Bua cave where LB1 was found, and reported that these lack chins and occasionally have premolar teeth similar to those in Homo floresiensis.
Background on Pennsylvania university and "blatant pro-Islam bias"
Dr. Eugene Narrett: "According to Penn State Bans Jewish Student´s Anti-Terrorism Exhibit Penn State, at the eleventh hour, quashed an art exhibit planned by a Jewish student. The exhibit documented the destruction of Jewish holy sites. Every reasonably alert, educated person knows that such destruction is a common and alarming feature of this historical period. It is part of the vilification and demonization of Jews that is the modus operandi of the “palestinian authority,” Fatah and Hamas. The University banned the exhibit in the name of its policy of “zero tolerance for hate” and because the exhibit ostensibly did not provide “cultural diversity.” Sorry but it’s difficult and impossible to find an Islamic state or region in which Jewish holy sites or Jewish lives are safe, protected and respected. So the University of Pennsylvania’s soi disant policy of “zero tolerance for hate” actually is a familiar sort of politically correct Orwellian deceit: it is in fact and effect a policy of suppressing, humiliating, hating, silencing and marginalizing Jews and what Islamic states and organizations do to the Jewish people. This treatment of course includes Islamic school textbooks that teach muslim children that Jews are “the descendants of pigs and monkeys” and that “the virgins of paradise” will reward them for murdering Jews. American higher education has been an oxymoron for nearly four decades and the rot has increased esponentially as political correctness has become entrenched and included a blatant pro-Islamic bias. Partly this reflects a greedy, truth-be-damned desire for petro-dollars. Partly it reflects something, now recrudescent, much older and deeply embedded in the conflicted heart of western civilization."
2) A 5-7 million year old skull of a Mesopithecus (extinct ape) recently found in Greece has also been used as "evidence" against Homo floresiensis, apparently just because it had abt the same cranial volume (which says nothing abt the quality - see posting below).
Klevius comment: 1) The skull was deformed after death. Accordingly Peter Brown, the original discoverer of Homo floresiensis (see postings below) describes it as "complete nonsense." Furthermore all modern humans, as well as Rampasasa pygmies, possess a chin.
2) There were certainly no such advanced toolmakers around 5-7 myr ago!
From the abstract: "Liang Bua 1 (LB1) exhibits marked craniofacial and postcranial asymmetries and other indicators of abnormal growth and development. Anomalies aside, 140 cranial features place LB1 within modern human ranges of variation, resembling Australomelanesian populations."
Furthermore, if LB1 "exhibits marked craniofacial and postcranial asymmetries and other indicators of abnormal growth and development" then how come that 140 cranial features can be referred to as placing LB1 "within modern human ranges of variation, resembling Australomelanesian populations"?!
I repeat my initial standpoint: It's NOT a Homo erectus. It DOES represent something new in our understanding of human evolution.
ISN'T IT TRULY SAD THAT WE, IN THE 21ST CENTURY, STILL HAVE TO FIGHT THESE RELIGIOUS FUNDAMEBTALISTS!
